Weil Advises Brookfield Business Partners in its Pending $8B Sale of Westinghouse Electric Company

Weil is advising Brookfield Business Partners in its pending sale of Westinghouse Electric Company, a provider of mission critical technologies, products and services to the nuclear power industry, to a consortium led by Cameco Corporation and Brookfield Renewable Partners, in a transaction that implied a Westinghouse enterprise value of $8 billion. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2023, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
