Robert Sevalrud is an associate in Weil’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and is based in New York. Mr. Sevalrud participates in the representation of public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Mr. Sevalrud has been part of the teams advising:

  • Centerview Partners LLC as financial advisor to Tiffany & Co. in Tiffany’s pending $16.2 billion sale to LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton S.E.
  • Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse in $7.5 billion committed bridge financing to support the pending merger of IFF (f/k/a International Flavors & Fragrances Inc.) with the Nutrition & Biosciences (N&B) Business of DuPont in a deal that values the combined company at $45 billion on an enterprise value basis. 

Mr. Sevalrud was previously an associate for an international corporate law firm in Canada.  Prior thereto, he was a summer associate for Kinder Morgan Canada Limited and a project manager for ExxonMobil Corporation/Imperial Oil Limited.

Mr. Sevalrud received his J.D. from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law, his M.B.A., Finance, with distinction, from the Haskayne School of Business and his B.Eng., with distinction, from McGill University.
