Matthew Harris
Biography
Matthew Harris is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in New York. Matthew participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Matthew has been part of the teams advising:
- CVC Capital Partners in its acquisitions of Gaming Laboratories International, Worldwide Laboratories and Kobetron
- Goldman Sachs Alternatives in its $1.7 billion acquisition of Sila Services
- Motive Partners in its strategic investment in Intelliware Holdings (d/b/a Electric Mind)
Matthew received his LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as Staff Editor of the University of Miami Law Review. He received his B.S., cum laude, from Cornell University, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
