Weil Advises Advent International in Acquisition of LayerZero Power Systems

Weil is advising Advent International in its definitive agreement to acquire majority shareholding in LayerZero Power Systems, a leading U.S. manufacturer of static transfer switches, power distribution units, and other power management products for data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Upon closing, LayerZero’s founders, Milind Bhanoo and James Galm, will remain minority equity holders in the company, and Annette Clayton, an Operating Partner at Advent and former CEO of Schneider Electric North America, will serve as Chair of LayerZero.
