Biography
Erin Richard is an associate in Weil's Private Equity practice and is based in Boston. Erin participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Erin has been part of the teams advising:
- Advent International in its acquisitions of Layerzero Power Systems, Inc. and Sauer Brands, Inc.; Xplor Technologies in its merger with Clubessential Holdings; and a consortium led by Advent International and Corvex Private Equity in its $1.3 billion take private of Heidrick & Struggles
- Astorg Partners in its approximately $282 million take-private acquisition of Hamilton Thorne and simultaneous acquisition of the Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) product portfolio of Cook Medical; and Hamilton Thorne’s acquisition of assisted reproductive technology and cytogenetics business unit of FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, Inc.
Erin received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as an Associate Editor of the Connecticut Law Review. She received her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
