Biography
Sammy Silberberg is an associate in Weil’s Banking & Finance practice and is based in New York. Sammy participates in advising borrowers, private equity sponsors, banks and other financial institutions in a variety of financing transactions, including first and second lien credit facilities, middle market and large cap financings, cross-border and domestic acquisition financings and debt restructuring transactions.
Sammy has been part of the teams advising:
- Advent International Corporation and its portfolio company Griffon Bidco, Inc. in its senior secured term loan and revolving facility to finance the acquisition of LayerZero; Savor Acquisition, Inc. in its incremental term loan facility
- Atlas Partners LP and its portfolio company Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC, in its $2.8 billion senior secured term loan and revolving facility
- Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., as administrative agent, in a senior unsecured term loan and revolving facility for Prosperity Life Insurance Group, LLC, Prosperity Assurance Holdco Limited, Prosperity Holding Company and Prosperity Assurance Life Holdco Limited (a portfolio company of JAB Holding Company S.à r.l.) to support the acquisition of Prosperity by JAB Holding Company S.à r.l. and the accompanying refinancing of existing indebtedness
Sammy received her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
