Weil advised the underwriters, led by Jefferies and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, A Stifel Company, as lead managing bookrunners, in the $173 million initial public offering of Jefferson Capital, Inc. The offering consisted of 11,500,000 million shares of common stock at a price of $15 a share, including the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase 1,500,000 additional shares.
Founded in 2002, Jefferson Capital is an analytically driven purchaser and manager of charged-off and insolvency consumer accounts with operations in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Latin America.
