Alex Friedman
Biography

Alex Friedman is an associate in Weil's Capital Markets practice and is based in New York. Alex participates in advising issuers, underwriters and private equity sponsors in connection with public and private offerings of securities and other capital markets transactions, including liability management transactions. She has been involved in investment grade and high-yield debt offerings as well as primary and secondary equity offerings.
Alex has been part of the teams advising:
- Iron Mountain Incorporated in its $1.2 billion offering of senior unsecured 144A / Reg S notes
- Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc and two major financial institutions, as representatives of several underwriters, in a $730 million senior unsecured notes offering by Parker-Hannifin Corporation
- Morgan Stanley, as representative of the initial purchasers, in a $360 million offering by Kohl’s Corporation of its senior secured notes due 2030
- Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in a new incremental $500 million senior secured term loan facility
- The underwriters, led by Jefferies and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, A Stifel Company, as lead managing bookrunners, in the $173 million initial public offering of Jefferson Capital, Inc.
Alex received her J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Richmond.
