
Natalie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joan L. Larsen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Honorable Richard J. Leon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Before joining Weil, she worked at another leading law firm.
Some of Natalie’s recent experience includes:*
- Representing a pharmaceutical manufacturer facing products liability claims for a blockbuster drug in state courts;
- Representing a banking association seeking to challenge a rule under the Administrative Procedure Act;
- Representing a leading pharmaceutical company in complex, multi-defendant litigation where plaintiffs and state attorneys general sought to impose liability for PFAS exposure;
- Representing a leading pharmaceutical retail corporation in litigation under the False Claims Act;
- Representing a client defending against Bivens liability at the Supreme Court;
- Representing a major biotechnology company seeking damages for the breach of a patent licensing agreement;
- Representing a leading alcoholic beverage company seeking to protect its trademark and defend against First Amendment claims at the Supreme Court;
- Representing a pharmaceutical manufacturer in arbitration about royalties owed under a patent licensing agreement;
- Counseling a leading financial institution on legal issues related to its corporate structure; and
- Representing a sovereign nation in arbitration related to its foreign investments.
Prior to law school, Natalie worked as a Russian to English translator at Sberbank Investment Bank in Moscow. She translated and edited content on the equity and fixed income markets in Russia, the Former Soviet Union, and Turkey. She also worked as a program manager and interpreter for a nonprofit organization in Russia.
Natalie received her J.D., Order of the Coif, from Vanderbilt University Law School. During law school, she was the Senior Articles Editor on the Vanderbilt Law Review and a member of the National Moot Court team. She received her B.A. in History and Russian from Middlebury College, where she served as captain of the varsity softball team and was inducted into the Slavic National Honors Society.
