Weil Advises Kiwi.com on Private Placement of Convertible Bonds

Weil has advised Kiwi.com, a leading travel technology company and portfolio company of General Atlantic headquartered in the Czech Republic, on a capital investment of €100 million, one of the largest of its size for a Czech start-up. The investment is in the form of a private placement of convertible bonds and will be used to support the company’s continued growth as Kiwi.com bolsters its position in the global travel industry.

The Weil team is being led by Private Equity partner Max Oppenheimer and Financing partners Nitin Konchady and Chris McLaughlin, supported by Banking associate Anish Mohanty and Tax counsel Stuart Pibworth.

Private Equity partners Jonathan Wood and Max Oppenheimer previously advised General Atlantic on its strategic investment in Kiwi.com.
