Weil Advises Brookfield as Co-Lead Investor in The OpenAI Deployment Company

Weil is advising Brookfield in its capacity as a co-lead investor in a joint venture with OpenAI known as The OpenAI Deployment Company (“DeployCo”), a new company designed to help organizations build and deploy AI systems they can rely on every day across their most important work. DeployCo was announced on May 11.

Brookfield is investing alongside 18 other leading global investment firms, consultancies, and system integrators and DeployCo will launch with more than $4 billion of initial investment, which it will use to scale operations and acquire firms that can accelerate OpenAI’s mission of broadly beneficial AI deployment.
