Matthew Conte
Matthew Conte is an associate in the Restructuring Department of Weil’s New York office.

Matt received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar, a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and served as Managing Editor for the Columbia FDI Perspectives.  While in law school, Matt served as judicial intern to The Honorable John P. Mastando III of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.  He received his B.S., magna cum laude, from American University.

  • The Special Master for the United States District Court for the District of Delaware in connection with enforcing judgments for billions, designing a plan for the Court supervised sale of the shares of PDV Holding, Inc., the parent Company of CITGO Holding, Inc. CITGO is one of the largest refiners, transporters, and marketers of motor fuels, petrochemicals, and other industrial products in the United States.
