Biography
Prior to joining Weil, Will served as an attorney in the Bureau of Competition, Mergers I Division at the Federal Trade Commission. While at the FTC, Will conducted investigations of mergers and acquisitions involving medical devices, pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, diagnostic testing, and other related products. Will’s experience at the FTC also included participation in all stages of two litigation proceedings to enjoin mergers – Otto Bock/Freedom Innovations and Illumina/Grail.
In 2020, Will was recognized with the FTC’s Stephen A. Nye Award for work during agency litigation and investigations that far exceeds the performance expected of a legal practitioner of his level.
During law school, Will served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Amit P. Mehta of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and as a Legal Intern at the FTC. He received his J.D. from William & Mary Law School and his B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
