Kyle McLachlan
Kyle McLachlan is an associate in the Restructuring group in London. As part of the team, he has experience advising on UK and cross-border financial restructuring transactions including both creditor and debtor side mandates.

Prior to joining Weil, Kyle was a member of the restructuring and special situations group at a leading international law firm in Sydney.

Representative experience at Weil includes:

  • Fossil Group on the groundbreaking English Part 26A restructuring plan, featuring a market-first “Stapled Exchange” structure combining an exchange offer with a backstop UK Restructuring Plan
  • CD&R portfolio company Vialto Partners on its consensual recapitalization and refinancing of its c. $1.7 billion of first-lien and second-lien debt facilities
  • An ad hoc group of bondholders of Swedish debt collector, Intrum, in relation to its restructuring, implemented pursuant to chapter 11 and Swedish reorganisation proceedings
  • An ad hoc group of lenders in relation to the global restructuring of oil and gas EPC business, McDermott
  • IGM Resins, an Astorg portfolio company, on its recapitalization and refinancing of its debt facilities
  • An ad hoc group of bondholders of Caribbean mobile phone operator, Digicel, in relation to the Group’s balance sheet restructuring, implemented through a series of exchanges offers, coupled with a scheme of arrangement and provisional liquidation in Bermuda
