Weil Advises AMC in $4B Global Refinancing

Weil advised AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. in the closing of its approximately $4.0 billion global refinancing, including an offering of $2.0 billion aggregate principal amount of first lien notes due 2031 in a private offering, borrowing of a new $850 million first lien term loan facility and new $1.12 billion second lien term loan facility.

The net proceeds will be used to refinance existing debt and fund the previously announced tender offer of the company’s outstanding 7.500% senior secured notes due 2029, which settled concurrently with the offering.
