World Trademark Review once again named Weil a leading firm for trademark enforcement and litigation in New York in its 2022 edition of WTR 1000 – The World's Leading Trademark Professionals.

In its editorial, WTR recognized Weil for practicing “at the vanguard of IP law,” by serving as “a source of percipient strategic counsel away from the courtroom and negotiating table and a prime pick for prestigious brands in all circumstances,” and for “[r]outinely engaging in trademark and other IP disputes and deals that impact entire industries.”

WTR also identified Head of Weil’s Intellectual Property & Media practice Benjamin Marks, and IP/Media partners Randi Singer and Jessica Falk among the top practitioners in the field, naming Benjamin as a “top copyright lawyer who understands the business of brands,” endorsing Randi for “resonant performances in court and [steadying] nerves with her expertise on issues such as secondary liability for trademark infringement,” and highlighting Jessica’s “vigorous defenses” and “creative approaches” in successful trademark and copyright infringement proceedings.

WTR is an independent daily news and information service dedicated exclusively to reporting on strategic and legal trademark issues for in-house and private practitioners internationally. It is published by Law Business Research, which is owned by Levine Leichtman Capital Partners.
