Weil advised Guggenheim Securities, as underwriter and placement agent, in a $750 million issuance of 144A/Reg S and privately placed notes by Jonah Energy LLC, a large-scale, independent natural gas producer, that are backed by oil and gas proved, developed and producing (PDP) assets. The transaction marks not only Jonah Energy’s inaugural issuance but also the largest-ever standalone securitization of PDP Oil and Gas assets to date.
