Angela Estrada
Angela Estrada is an associate in Weil’s Banking & Finance practice and is based in Dallas. Angela participates in advising borrowers and leading private equity sponsors in a variety of financing transactions, including first and second lien credit facilities, middle market and large cap financings, cross-border and domestic acquisition financings and debt restructuring transactions.

Angela has been part of the teams advising:

  • AYR Wellness Inc. in the issuance of $243 million of senior secured notes due 2026, subordinate voting shares and warrants to purchase subordinate voting shares
  • Backlight Solutions Holdings LP (a portfolio company of PSG)in its $25 million senior secured multi draw term and revolving facility
  • ChampionX Corporation in $1.3 billion amended & restated senior secured revolving and term facilities to refinance existing indebtedness
  • Diversified Healthcare Trust, a real estate investment trust in a $941 million offering of zero coupon senior secured notes due 2026
  • GC Services LP in its $105 million first and second lien facilities and $40 million asset based revolving credit facility to finance business operations upon emerging from chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings
  • Luxor Capital Group, LP, as administrative agent, in a senior secured term loan and revolving credit facility for Montage Hotels & Resorts, LLC (d/b/a Montage International)
  • Office Properties Income Trust in its $300 million 144A/Reg S offering of 9.000% senior secured notes due 2029
  • ORG GC Midco, LLC (Midco), parent of GC Services LP, in Midco’s $6 million senior secured debtor-in-possession facility, to provide liquidity during its chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings
  • Software Luxembourg Holding S.A. (n/k/a Skillsoft Corporation) in a $160 million incremental senior secured term facility to finance its acquisition of Codecademy

Angela joined Weil as a summer associate in 2019. She previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jeffrey S. Boyd of the Supreme Court of Texas.

Angela received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor of the Texas Tech Law Review. She received her M.A. from Texas State University and her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Texas-Pan American.
