World Intellectual Property Review has ranked Weil and three of its partners in its “Global Trade Secrets 2025” rankings.
Weil was ranked as a “Recommended” firm and Co-Heads of the Firm’s IP, Technology & Science Litigation practice Doug Lumish and Jeff Homrig were designated as “Outstanding” and “Highly Recommended,” respectively, while John Barry, Head of Weil’s Employment Practice Group, was “Recommended” among individual practitioners.
The publication noted Weil’s “formidable reputation for resolving the most complex and high-stakes disputes” and called the recent addition of Doug, Jeff and IP, Technology & Science Litigation partner Gabe Gross a “major coup.”
Additionally, the publication’s profile of the Firm noted the recent addition of IP, Technology & Science Litigation partners Chris Henry and Gaby LaHatte.
It also highlights Weil’s defense of Ceridian against allegations that it misrepresented its trade secrets and breached two non-disclosure agreements. A Weil team led by Global Litigation Department Co-Chair David Lender and Complex Commercial Litigation partner Bambo Obaro secured dismissal of these claims by the Superior Court of Delaware, the Firm’s profile mentions.
The list, in its third year, recognizes “the preeminent law firms and lawyers who advise major clients on the most significant global trade secrets matters.”
