Weil is advising PSG Equity L.L.C. in its growth equity investment in HeroDevs, Inc., a developer of open-source software designed to offer web development services. As part of the transaction, HeroDevs is allocating $20 million to the HeroDevs Open Source Sustainability Fund, aimed at supporting maintainers and projects aligned with responsible end-of-life software practices.
The investment, one of the largest in Utah this year, will enable HeroDevs to scale its efforts to secure and modernize legacy enterprise systems while ensuring ongoing compliance and protection.
