Antitrust/Competition partner Vadim Brusser and Private Equity partner Jenna McBain have been named among the Top Rising Stars of 2021 by The Deal.

They are among 86 new partners nationwide recognized for their expertise, leadership and “spectacular work in the field of dealmaking.”

Vadim Brusser represents clients in all aspects of the global pre-merger notification and regulatory review process. He also provides counsel in other areas of antitrust law, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, government investigations and private litigation. Vadim has recently had a key role in the Weil antitrust teams advising Allergan in its $63 billion acquisition by AbbVie, Inc. and Maxim Integrated, Inc., in its $21 billion sale to Analog Devices, Inc.

Jenna McBain advises leading private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Her recent accomplishments include advising: American Securities in its $825 million acquisition of the Life Sciences Business of NN, Inc.; Apollo Global Management in its acquisition of Lendlease (US) Telecom Holdings LLC; Blackstone in its acquisition of a majority stake in ZO Skin Health, Inc.; and EQT Partners in its $485 million sale of Dorner Manufacturing Corporation.
