Chief Business Development & Communications Officer Robert Lennon has been named a “Notable 2022 LGBTQ Leader” by Crain’s New York Business. He is among a select group of honorees chosen for this year’s list, which highlights individuals for “their professional achievements and their commitment to equality.”

Rob was profiled in a special supplement for his accomplishments at Weil and his leadership within the legal community. The publication notes the significant media coverage Rob has helped garner for the Firm across myriad legal and business outlets, as well as the various profile-raising and client development efforts Rob has championed to advance diversity, equity and inclusion at Weil. Rob is a longstanding member of both the Firm’s global Diversity Committee and its global Task Force on Women’s Engagement & Retention.

The profile also underscores Rob’s community involvement in advocating and advancing LGBTQ+ rights through board service. Most notably, he is recognized for his leadership of Treatment Action Group (TAG) – an independent, activist, and community-based research and policy think tank committed to racial, gender, and LGBTQ+ equity; social justice; and liberation, fighting to end HIV, tuberculosis (TB), and hepatitis C virus (HCV). Rob currently serves as president of TAG’s board of directors and has been a board member for more than a decade.
