Courtney Marcus Named One of Texas Diversity Council’s 2021 Top Women Lawyers

Courtney S. Marcus, Managing Partner of Weil’s Dallas office and a partner in the Firm’s Banking & Finance practice, has been named among the Top Women Lawyers in 2021 by the Texas Diversity Council. This recognition is given annually to leaders in corporate America who display high integrity and ethical behavior in their commitment to diversity and community well-being.

Courtney leads Weil’s representation of private equity firms, public and private corporate borrowers and financial investors in their most complex banking and finance matters. Her extensive experience includes leveraged acquisition and recapitalization transactions, bridge and mezzanine financing, cash flow and asset-based lending, debtor-in-possession financing and loan restructurings and workouts. She regularly advises on billion-dollar deals and has worked with clients in a variety of industries such as energy (including E&P, midstream and energy service companies), sports franchises, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, business services and consumer products.

She helps guide Weil’s pace-setting efforts in diversity and pro bono service and serves on the Firm’s Management Committee, among other significant contributions to the Firm’s overall success and preeminent status as an esteemed counselor to the world’s leading companies.
