Yilong Liu is an associate in Weil’s Banking & Finance practice and is based in Silicon Valley. Yilong participates in advising borrowers, private equity sponsors, banks and other financial institutions in a variety of financing transactions, including first and second lien credit facilities, middle market and large cap financings, cross-border and domestic acquisition financings and debt restructuring transactions.
Yilong has been part of the teams advising:
- Ares Management Corp, as lenders, in an incremental first lien senior secured term facility for Service Logic Acquisition, Inc. (d/b/a Service Logic) (a portfolio company of Leonard Green)
- J.P. Morgan Chase, as administrative agent, together with the other joint lead arrangers and joint bookrunners, in amended & restated senior secured revolving and term facilities for National Veterinary Associates, Inc.
- Marcone Supply (f/k/a Marcone Appliance Parts Center, Inc.) (a portfolio company of Genstar Capital) in its acquisition of The Bell Pump Service Company and The Simons Company, Inc.
- mPulse Mobile, Inc. (a portfolio company of PSG) in its acquisitions of Decision Point Healthcare Solutions LLC and HealthTrio, LLC
- Orion Advisor Solutions (a portfolio company of Genstar Capital and TA Associates) in first and second lien senior secured term facilities and simultaneous issuance of preferred shares to finance its acquisition of Redtail Technology, Inc.
Yilong joined Weil as a summer associate in 2020.
Yilong received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and his B.A., with distinction, from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
