Kate McComiskey is counsel in the Banking & Finance group in the London office of Weil. She focuses on infrastructure and leveraged acquisition finance transactions and advises private equity sponsors, financial institutions and corporates on a variety of domestic and cross-border debt and corporate finance transactions.
Kate advises a number of investors and their lenders on their infrastructure investments such as Antin Infrastructure Partners, Basalt Infrastructure Partners, First Sentier Investors and Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets.
Selected experience includes:
- First Sentier Investors’ lenders on the financing of its acquisitions of Stockholm Exergi, Wheelabrator UK, and Falbygdens Energi AB
- Equitix on the financing of its acquisition of Crail Meters Limited from Smart Metering Systems PLC
- Brookfield in its capacity as junior lender on a refinancing of a Scandinavian district heating business
- Ancala Partners on the financing of its acquisition of SSE Water
- Macquarie Super Core Infrastructure Fund SCSp on a €800 million senior bridge credit facility
- Argos Wityu in a senior net asset value (NAV) facility backed by a portfolio of infrastructure assets for Euroknights VI LP Funds Nos.1-5.
