Jess Kim is an associate in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in Silicon Valley. Jess participates in the representation of public and private companies in a variety of transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity investments and divestitures.
Jess has been part of the teams advising:
- Genstar and Clarience Technologies LLC in its acquisition of Ranger Design, Inc., Ranger Design US, Inc., Al Van Equip NW, Inc. and 9532-1436 Quebec Inc. and GS Amp TopCo LLC in its acquisition of NEL Frequency Controls, Inc.
- TCV in its investment in Cloudsmith Inc.
Jess received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as Communications Chair and Associate Editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal. She earned her B.A. from Northwestern University.
