Charles Gehnrich

Charles Gehnrich is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice group, where he focuses on litigating a broad array of complex commercial cases in state and federal courts nationwide.

Some of his notable experiences includes serving on Weil teams representing:

  • A provider of emergency air ambulance services in connection with a False Claims Act investigation
  • A leading global provider of analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry in a proposed merger
  • A global pharmaceutical company in connection with numerous engagements, including advising on pre-litigation matters pertaining to the company’s drug development collaboration agreements with another life sciences company

Charles is also involved in the Firm’s pro bono initiatives, including work for the Brennan Center for Justice on voting rights issues.

Charles earned his J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Fordham University School of Law where he was a Mary Day Scholar and Staff Member of the Fordham Law Review. During law school, he was a Judicial Intern for Hon. Andrea Masley of the New York State Supreme Court, Commercial Division and Hon. Gary S. Katzmann of the United States Court of International Trade. He earned his B.A., summa cum laude, from the State University of New York College at Geneseo.
