In 2018, when the ESG Community Committee developed ‘Improving Lives & Raising Aspirations’, the aim was to think long-term and to address some of the most challenging issues that blight our society: rising homelessness, entrenched poverty and stagnant social mobility.
Four years on, our charity partners have had much to contend with: a global pandemic, economic uncertainty and now a cost of living crisis which continues to increase the demand for their services while making fundraising all the more challenging. Despite all of that, with the dedication and talent of their staff, trustees and volunteers who support their vital work, the charities continue to survive and thrive and we hope that our efforts through pro bono, volunteering and fundraising play a small part in that.
In this brochure, we take you through some of the memorable moments and key highlights during 2022 – especially celebrating a return to in-person events. Thanks to your efforts these past twelve months, we’ve now raised more than £395,000 since December 2018. This is an incredible achievement.
Looking ahead to 2023, we’re really excited to continue holding in-person fundraising and volunteering events as we enter the penultimate year of Improving Lives & Raising Aspirations!
