Elizabeth Weiswasser Named Among 2021 Notable Women in Law by Crain’s New York Business

Elizabeth S. Weiswasser, Co-Head of Weil’s Patent Litigation and Life Sciences practices, has been named among the 2021 Notable Women in Law by Crain’s New York Business. The annual list recognized 103 top women in the New York City metropolitan area for their achievements in the law, leadership and contributions to the legal community.

“The Who’s Who in the biological and pharmaceutical spaces know to turn to Elizabeth Weiswasser for all things related to patents,” Crain’s New York Business reported, while also recognizing Ms. Weiswasser’s achievements as a leader at Weil, a member of the Management Committee, and mentor to attorneys across the Firm. Throughout her career, she has focused on developing the talents and advancing the careers of Weil’s female attorneys, LGBTQ+ attorneys, and attorneys of color.

Ms. Weiswasser is one of the country’s foremost patent litigators. She is lead counsel on behalf of sophisticated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies, in federal courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission and in inter partes and post-grant review proceedings before U.S. Patent Office.

Crain’s New York Business selected the honorees from a competitive field of nominees in consultation with professionals in New York’s legal and business communities.
