Biography
Tyler Phelps is an associate in Weil’s Antitrust practice group. His practice focuses on regulatory approval for mergers and acquisitions, government investigations, civil litigation, and antitrust compliance matters across a wide range of industries including asset management, semiconductors, and food manufacturing.
Tyler performs pro bono work on behalf of the Innocence Project.
Tyler earned his J.D., magna cum laude, with an Antitrust Law Concentration from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School, where he was a member of the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy and the Moot Court Board, and where he also served as Co-Chair of the Global Antitrust Institute Invitational Moot Court Competition. During law school, Tyler worked as a research assistant for the Global Antitrust Institute and received an award for “Outstanding Academic Achievement in Antitrust Law.” He earned a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland – College Park.
