Thomas Zimmermann
Biography

Thomas Zimmermann is counsel in the Finance department. Before joining, he worked for six years as a lawyer for another international law firm in Stuttgart. He also spent one year in the New York office of a law firm specialized on structured finance. Thomas has extensive experience in representing private equity firms, banks and mezzanine lenders in leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, project financings, distressed debt transactions and high-yield bond offerings. He has also advised underwriters and originators in connection with the issuance of asset-backed securities and collateralized debt obligations.
Thomas attended the University of Tübingen (law degree 1999) and was admitted to practice in Germany in 2000.
He is fluent in German and English.
