Biography

Lucy Peckham is an associate in Weil’s Antitrust/Competition practice, where she advises on all aspects of EU and UK competition law, including merger control, restrictive practices, market dominance and general counselling and compliance.
Lucy’s experience encompasses a broad range of industries, including chemicals, IP/IT, consumer goods, and financial services. Prior to joining Weil, Lucy trained in the London office of a UK law firm.
Representative experience as part of a team, including prior to joining Weil, includes acting for:
- An affiliate of Lone Star Funds on the €5.2 billion sale of MBCC Group, the former BASF Construction Chemicals business headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, to Sika
- Facebook on the UK Competition and Market's Authority's Online Platforms and Digital Advertising Market Study; and the defence and co-ordination of ongoing proceedings and inquiries before the European Commission
- A Global digital payment transfer company on its acquisition of an app-based remittance company
