Biography
Elena is an associate in the Banking and Finance group in the London office of Weil.
Elena has advised private equity sponsors, corporates, financial institutions and direct lenders on a wide range of financing transactions, with a particular emphasis on cross-border acquisition and leveraged finance (both public and private), as well as high yield financings, debt restructurings and refinancings.
Representative experience, as part of a team, includes advising:
- Advent International on the refinancing of the Aareon Group and the hard staple financing for the sale of the Aareon Group.
- Advent International on the financing for the acquisition of the Caldic Group.
- Advent International on the financing for the acquisition of the Hoist Group.
- Advent International on the financing for the take private bid for Sobi.
- Advent International on the financing for the take private acquisition of Cobham Plc.
- Advent International on its financing package for the acquisition of the Mediq Group.
- Bain Capital on its $3 billion financing package for the acquisition of a 60% stake in the Kantar Group.
- A&M Capital Europe on the financing for the acquisition of a majority stake in the GBUK Group.
- SumUp on its $1 billion financing package.
- AMC Entertainment and the Odeon Group on their refinancing and restructuring options.
