Corey Spector is an associate in Weil’s Tax Department and is based in New York. Corey participates in the representation of Firm clients with respect to the tax aspects of a wide range of corporate transactions.
Corey has been part of the teams advising:
- American Securities and its portfolio company LaserShip, Inc. in LaserShip’s acquisition of OnTrac Logistics, Inc.
- Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. in its $125 million acquisition of Dropworks, Inc.
- CVC in its acquisition of a significant minority stake in CFGI, in a transaction that valued CFGI at $1.9 billion
Prior to joining Weil, Corey was a Tax associate at another international law firm.
Corey received his LL.M. from New York University School of Law, his J.D. from Queen’s University and his LL.B., summa cum laude, from the University of Ottawa. He is fluent in French.
