Biography
Alvaro is an associate in the Brussels Antitrust Practice.
Representative experience as part of a team includes advising:
- The Boeing Company in its $8.3 billion acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems
- Lone Star Funds on the acquisition of ContiTech, the material solutions group of Continental AG
- Lone Star Funds on its acquisition of DOMO Engineered Materials
- Lone Star Funds on the sale of Xella Group to Holcim
- ETNA Capital on its majority acquisition of Brolis Defence Group
Prior to joining Weil, Alvaro gained experience at law firms in Madrid and Brussels, practicing EU and antitrust law. Alvaro recently graduated from the College of Europe, where he completed his LL.M.
