LOS ANGELES, SEPTEMBER 15, 2025: International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that highly regarded litigators Adam Fee and James (Bo) Pearl have joined the Firm as partners in the Complex Commercial Litigation practice, based in the Los Angeles office.
“We are incredibly pleased to welcome Adam and Bo to Weil,” said Weil Executive Partner Barry Wolf. “They are excellent trial lawyers with deep expertise in white collar enforcement, antitrust and entertainment matters. They will immediately strengthen our ability to deliver results for clients in their most complex and business-critical matters.”
“Adam and Bo are terrific lawyers with national reputations for excellence,” said Drew Tulumello, Co-Chair of Weil’s global Litigation Department. “Adam is one the country’s most dynamic white collar lawyers, and Bo is a top entertainment and antitrust lawyer I have watched with admiration over many years. They will be strong West Coast anchors for our expanding white collar and entertainment, sports and media (ESM) practices.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Adam and Bo to the Firm,” said Tana Ryan, Managing Partner of Weil’s Los Angeles office. “As we continue to build our best-in-market Los Angeles office, we are looking for unique talent that offers clients unparalleled excellence – and Adam and Bo exemplify those values. Their high-quality lawyering, drive and commitment to their clients match the energy of our Los Angeles office generally and will fuel our continued success in Los Angeles and California more broadly.”
Adam is a nationally recognized trial lawyer who has taken on some of the most complex and closely watched civil and criminal cases in courts across the country. With a background as a national security prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, he has become a trusted advisor to Fortune 100 companies and high-profile individuals facing serious legal challenges. Adam brings both pragmatism and resolve to the toughest cases in the market.
Adam has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Trial Attorneys of Influence list, and has also been recognized as a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation and included among top lawyers in the market in legal guides and publications, including Legal 500.
“Weil’s litigation platform is second to none and built to handle the thorniest, most complex matters,” said Adam. “It is an absolute privilege to be joining a team with such a deep bench and a clear commitment to excellence in the courtroom and to relentless client advocacy.”
Bo is a nationally recognized trial lawyer with twenty-five years of experience in the highest profile entertainment, First Amendment, antitrust, employment, intellectual property and complex commercial disputes. He has represented studios, talent agencies, media and technology companies in important disputes. Known for his strategic instincts and courtroom presence, Bo has a long history of leading large teams in bet-the-company cases. In the past few years, Bo has secured multiple nine-figure victories for his clients.
Bo has been consistently recognized by publications such as Chambers, Legal 500 and Lawdragon, as well as regularly included in the prestigious Variety Legal Impact Report, which lists the most influential entertainment attorneys.
“Leading entertainment and media companies – like all sophisticated clients – face complex legal challenges that play out across courtrooms, boardrooms and headlines,” said Bo. “Weil understands that dynamic, and I’m thrilled to bring my practice to a firm that combines an elite litigation bench with true trial lawyers, strategists and media-savvy teams delivering results for our clients.”
The arrivals of Adam and Bo quickly follow those of prominent entertainment, sports and media (ESM) partners Tom Ara and David Markman, who joined Weil’s Los Angeles office in June and July, respectively. They are also the latest lateral partners adding to Weil’s first-chair trial capabilities, which have continued to grow through the recent arrivals of six partners in our new IP, Technology & Science Litigation practice, as well as former federal prosecutors such as Nili Moghaddam, Sanjay Wadhwa and Andrew Dean – all of whom reflect the Firm’s busy trial docket and unabating litigation demand.
