Weil has advised OCS on its recommended cash acquisition of Mitie, bringing together two complementary businesses specializing in facilities management and transformation. Completion is subject to the terms and conditions set out in the Rule 2.7 announcement, including approval by Mitie’s shareholders and regulatory approvals.

The proposed combination would create a UK-headquartered international facilities management group, strengthening the group’s ability to support existing and new customers operating in increasingly complex, regulated and mission critical environments across government, defense, healthcare, national infrastructure, life sciences and commercial markets.

The Weil team was led by Jonathan Wood and Sarah Flaherty, with support from counsel Ian Davis, senior consultant Ian Hamilton and associates Nicole Walker and Holly Mackay. The wider team included, among others, Antitrust counsel Lucy Chambers and associate Derek Yap; Incentives partner Kevin Donegan and associate Anna Ritchie; Litigation partner Christopher Marks and associate Rhys Williams; Technology & IP Transactions partner Barry Fishley; and Employment senior consultant Mark Taylor and associates Lizzie Thomas and Caitlin Haggerty.
