Our London office recently claimed two awards at the Third Sector Business Charity Awards. Weil was honored in the category of “Best Legal Partnership” for our pro bono partnership with Social Investment Business for our work helping the foundation set up the “Resilience and Recovery Loan Fund” that provided £28 million of emergency funds to charities during the Covid pandemic.

Weil’s London Social Responsibility team also won “CSR Team of the Year” with judges commenting that “the team had created a tangible impact by using the wide range of skills and resources colleagues have to offer.” In 2021, the London office performed 12,000 pro bono hours, 2,000 volunteer hours and facilitated a wide range of high-impact projects, including the creation of the U.K.’s first apprenticeship qualification in Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability.
