
Zachary Torres is an associate in Weil’s Tax practice and is based in Miami. Zachary participates in the representation of Firm clients with respect to the tax aspects of a wide range of corporate, restructuring and private equity transactions.
Zachary received his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as Senior Articles Editor of the Florida Law Review, and was an Ethos of Excellence Scholar. During law school, Zachary served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Edwin Torres of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, won 1st Place and Best Defendant Oralist Awards at the Iberoamerican Observatory of International Tax Moot Court Competition and was a recipient of the Cuban American Bar Association Foundation Scholarship. Zachary received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Florida.
