Jenny Choi
Jenny Choi is a partner in the Banking & Finance group of the London office of Weil.

Jenny has acted for private equity sponsors, large corporate borrowers, financial institutions and direct lenders on a wide range of multi-jurisdictional financings across the capital structure. She is recognised by leading publications, including Financial News, as a "Rising Star of European Finance" for 2025, and featured in Law.Com's "Rising Stars: Best Up-And-Coming Women" list for 2025.

Prior to joining Weil, Jenny was a member of the Banking & Finance team at a leading international firm in London and Sydney, and has also spent time on secondment at CVC Credit in London.  Jenny is also a qualified Chartered Accountant of Australia and New Zealand. 

Representative experience includes acting for:

  • Inflexion on the financing for its acquisition of Marlowe plc's Governance, Risk & Compliance software and services assets and refinancing of Aspen Pumps and Ocorian
  • Permira on the financing of its acquisition and refinancing of Acuity and the financing arrangements for Hana Group and Safti
  • CVC Capital on the financing for its acquisition of La Piadineria
  • Montagu on the financing for its acquisitions of Lloyds List Intelligence and EPFR, and the financing arrangements in respect of Wireless Logic, ITRS, Janes and ISI Emerging Markets
  • Bain Capital on the financing for its acquisition of Deltatre and various bids
  • Advent International on the financing for various bids and in respect of its portfolio companies
  • AMC Entertainment Holdings in respect of its financing arrangements  
  • Sun European Partners on the financing for its acquisition of K3 Capital Group
  • OMERS on the financing for its acquisition of Bionic
  • SumUp Group in respect of its financing arrangements
  • The financiers for the acquisition of Schülke & Mayr by a consortium led by Athos
