Theodora Tavridou
Theodora Tavridou is counsel in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in New York. Theodora participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Theodora has been part of the teams advising:

  • AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. in its $600 million issuance of senior unsecured convertible notes to Silver Lake to finance AMC's repurchase of a portion of its stock held by Dalian Wanda Group Co., AMC's majority owner, and to pay a special dividend
  • American Securities in its $825 million acquisition of the Life Sciences Business of NN, Inc.
  • Aterian Investment Partners in its acquisitions of Hain Pure Protein (n/k/a Poultry Holdings LLC) and Pioneer Metal Finishing, LLC
  • Centerbridge Partners, Littlejohn & Co., TPG Capital and other lenders, in the recapitalization of Stallion Oilfield Holdings Inc.
  • Cornell Capital Partners in its acquisitions of Advancing Eyecare and kdc/one Development Corporation, Inc. (kdc/one); kdc/one’s acquisitions of Benchmark Cosmetic Laboratories, Inc. and Zobele Holding S.p.A.; kdc/one in an investment by KKR and its acquisition of Aerofil Technology, Inc.; and the business combination of kdc/one and HCT Group Holdings Limited
  • Dex Media, Inc. (n/k/a Thryv) (a portfolio company of Mudrick Capital Management and Paulson & Co.) in its acquisition of YP Holdings LLC
  • Digital Currency Group, Inc. in connection with the chapter 11 cases of its wholly-owned indirect subsidiary Genesis Global Capital, LLC and certain affiliates, a cryptocurrency trading, lending and borrowing platform with approximately $3.4 billion in debt
  • EQT Partners and its portfolio company Sivantos Pte. Ltd. (n/k/a WS Audiology A/S) in its acquisition of TruHearing, Inc.
  • Global Software, Inc. (a portfolio and platform company of TA Associates) in its acquisition of insightsoftware.com Inc.
  • Guidepost Growth Equity in its investment in ThinkHR Corporation
  • Lee Equity Partners in its sale of its portfolio company Cadent Technology, Inc. to Novacap Investments, Inc.
  • Oak Hill Capital and its portfolio company Galway Insurance Holdings, a holding company for EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants, and JenCap Holdings LLC in, together with The Carlyle Group, the sale of a majority stake in Galway to Harvest Partners, with Oak Hill and Carlyle reinvesting in Galway; and EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants in its acquisition of Prime Risk Partners Inc.
  • Providence Equity Partners in its acquisitions of a majority interest in DoubleVerify, Inc. and a majority stake in 365 Retail Markets, LLC; and Grupo TorreSur in its $315 million sale of São Paulo Cinco Locação de Torres Ltda.
  • PSP Investments, as a minority investor, in the acquisition, alongside TPG Capital, of Thycotic Software, Ltd. and the merger of Thycotic with Centrify Corporation (a portfolio company of TPG Capital)
  • Storytel AB, a publicly traded company portfolio company of EQT, in its $135 million acquisition of Audiobooks.com
  • Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC in its $4.6 billion sale of substantially all of its global business to Brookfield Business Partners L.P.

Theodora received her LL.M. from Northwestern University School of Law.
