Steve Mirsen
Biography

Steve Mirsen is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation and Appeals and Strategic Counseling practices. He litigates a broad array of business disputes in several different industries, including healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and media and entertainment. Among his notable experience, Steve was part of the Weil team leading Bovis Lend Lease to a successful opposition to summary judgment in the New York Supreme Court, after a decade-long contract litigation.
Steve is deeply committed to pro bono cases including advocating for a prisoner alleging denial of medical care.
Prior to joining Weil, Steve served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gerald J. Pappert in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Steve received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Cornell Law School where he was an articles editor of the Cornell Law Review. He was also active in moot court competitions, winning the 2022 Cuccia Cup Competition along with his partner. During law school, Steve worked as a Poritz Fellow with Legal Services of New Jersey. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in Public Policy and History.
