Biography
Priya Shah is Corporate counsel in London who has advised, as part of a team, a number of leading private equity investors on a full range of transaction types including buyouts, growth equity/minority investments, domestic and cross-border acquisitions and disposals of businesses.
She has spent time on secondment to Blackstone and PSG Equity.
Representative experience as part of a team includes acting for:
- Advent International on the $550 million sale of Ultra Maritime’s Signature Management & Power business to ESCO Technologies
- Froneri, a joint venture between PAI Partners and Nestlé, on the acquisition of the European ice cream businesses of Food Union, a portfolio company of PAG Private Equity
- General Atlantic on the sale of a minority stake in Property Finder to Permira, Blackstone and others.
- General Atlantic through its climate growth fund BeyondNetZero on its minority investment in Wireless Logic
- General Atlantic on the investment in the Permira and Blackstone-led take-private of Adevinta
- Global Infrastructure Partners in the sale of c. 50% co-controlling interest in in Italo – Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori S.p.A, one of Europe’s leading private high-speed rail operators, to Mediterranean Shipping Company
- Oaktree on the merger of its portfolio company Zzoomm Plc, a full fiber network operator providing fibre to the premises (FTTP) with FullFibre (a portfolio company of Basalt Infrastructure), a provider of wholesale full fibre network
- PAI Partners on its c.£2 billion acquisition of Audiotonix
- PSG on the strategic growth investment in Glasswall
- PSG on the sale of Mapal to Eurazeo and PSG’s reinvestment in Mapal
- PSG on the sale of Nalanda to Once For All (a portfolio company of GTCR) and PSG’s reinvestment into the combined business
- The Visualize Group on the acquisition of eCOGRA from Hanover Investors
