Michelle Berardino is an associate in Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice, where she focuses on litigating a broad range of disputes in state and federal courts nationwide.
Michelle’s recent experience includes serving on Weil teams representing:
- An air medical emergency transport company in a False Claims Act litigation
- The subsidiary of a private equity asset management company in a nationwide antitrust putative class action
,alleging price-fixing in the market for real estate rental units - A wholesale grocer in a breach of contract litigation
- A minor league baseball team against Major League Baseball for tortious interference with contract claims
Michelle also maintains an active pro bono practice, and has been a member of Weil teams representing pro bono clients on issues related to family reunification and the investigation of claims of possible genocide.
Michelle received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a Mary Daly Scholar and served as Staff Member for Fordham Intellectual Property, Media, and Entertainment Law Journal. During law school, she was a Judicial Intern for Hon. Paul G. Gardephe of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She received a B.A., summa cum laude, from Fordham University.
