Biography
Maya is a Structured Finance & Derivatives associate in London. She advises on a range of structured finance and securitisation transactions, and on the hedging aspects of infrastructure and leveraged finance transactions.
Representative experience as part of the team, includes advising:
- Voyage Care Group, on the hedging aspects of its new senior facilities agreement and concurrent tender offer to purchase for cash its Senior Secured Notes due 2027.
- A consortium of 12 lenders, on the tailored hedging arrangements in respect of a significant financing package for the design and construction of the A12/A15 Ressen-Oudbroeken (ViA15) PPP project in the Netherlands.
Prior to joining Weil, Maya completed her training contract at an international firm in London, during which she also spent six months on a client secondment to the equity derivatives legal team of a leading investment bank.
