Zhang_Kai
Kai Zhang is a counsel in the London Finance practice, specialising in advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on a range of multijurisdictional complex financings, with a focus on leveraged buyouts of public and private companies.

Kai has extensive experience advising on European and U.S. debt financings, including transactions involving senior secured credit facilities (including unitranche financings), high yield bonds, second liens and other acquisition and holdco instruments, liability management and fund financings.

Kai has worked on secondment at Hg Capital for a year where she worked on a variety of transactions across different funds, jurisdictions and sectors, advising on leveraged finance, fund finance, M&A and other legal matters.

Kai is recognised in IFLR1000’s 2024 Women in Business Law EMEA Awards as a rising star for finance.
