Biography
Justine Park is an Executive Compensation & Benefits associate in Weil’s Tax Department and is based in New York. Justine participates in the representation of Firm clients with respect to the executive compensation, employee benefits and ERISA issues in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, initial public offerings and other strategic transactions.
Justine has been part of the teams advising:
- A consortium led by Advent International and Corvex Private Equity in its approximately $1.3 billion take-private of Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc.
- Better Life Health in its acquisition of Thirty Madison
- Blackstone in its $300 million investment in DataDirect Networks, Inc.
- Brookfield Asset Management and Schoeller Allibert in its merger with Intelligent Packaging Limited
- Bryson DeChambeau-led investor group in its acquisition of Sportsbox AI
- Eli Lilly and Company in its acquisition of a minority stake in Creyon Bio, Inc.
- Glencore, CPP Investments and BCI, as shareholders, in Viterra Ltd.’s approximately $18 billion business combination with Bunge Ltd.
- Kantar Group (a portfolio company of Bain Capital Private Equity) in its acquisition of Numerator
- L’Oréal in its acquisition of Color Wow
- One Investment Management in its $200 million investment in Noveon Magnetics Inc.
- Providence Equity Partners and its portfolio company 365 Retail Markets in its $848 million acquisition of Cantaloupe, Inc. (f/k/a USA Technologies Inc.)
- Stoneridge, Inc. in the sale of its control devices business to an affiliate of Center Rock Capital Partners, L.P.
- The Home Depot, Inc. in its acquisition of Mingledorff's, Inc.
Prior to joining Weil, Justine was an associate at another international law firm.
Justine received her LL.M in Taxation from New York University School of Law, and her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where she served as a Notes and Comments Editor of the Emory International Law Review. She received her B.A., with Honors, from Yonsei University.
