Biography
Reed Ruddick is an associate in Weil's Private Equity practice and is based in Boston. Reed participates in the representation of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Reed has been part of the teams advising:
- Advent International and Cobham Group Limited in its approximately $1.9 billion sale of CAES Systems Holdings LLC to Honeywell International Inc.; and Iodine Software in Iodine’s $1.25 billion sale to Waystar
- Providence Equity Partners and 365 Retail Markets in its $848 million acquisition of Cantaloupe, Inc. (f/k/a USA Technologies Inc.)
- PSG in its acquisition of a majority stake in Lightkeeper
- Stripes, LLC, as second lead investor, alongside General Atlantic, in an $825 million tender offer to purchase shares of Vuori, Inc.
Reed received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was the Senior Editor of the Law & Psychology Review. He received his B.S., magna cum laude, from Troy University.
