Alexis’s prior experience includes patent cases across technology sectors, including cancer diagnostic tests, semiconductors, medical devices, and image transformation software. She has worked on cases across all patent forums, including the PTAB, the ITC, and various district courts. She also has experience with trademark disputes.
Alexis has worked on various pro bono matters, including assisting a domestic violence survivor in securing a full restraining order against her abuser, a criminal appeal, expungement procedures, and an asylum matter. She was also deeply involved in several research matters that have or are being published as articles or developed into CLEs, ranging from the Unitary Patent Court in Europe, to claim construction trends across the four major patent litigation forums.
Alexis received her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, summa cum laude, and her B.S. in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is a licensed Patent Attorney before the U.S. Patent Office.
