Five Weil partners have been honored in Variety's 2026 Legal Impact Report, which recognizes the Hollywood attorneys who represent “the town’s top talent and companies, helping them navigate a fast-changing landscape.”

Entertainment, Sports and Media Head Tom Ara, Intellectual Property & Media Head Benjamin E. Marks, Complex Commercial Litigation senior partner David Yohai, Litigation partner Yehudah Buchweitz and Technology & IP Transactions partner David Markman were included on the list.

Variety highlighted the group’s work advising global media companies, talent agencies and financiers on significant transactions and high-stakes litigation.

Reflecting on the past year, Tom noted that 2025 was shaped by three key themes: “consolidation, innovation, and restructuring.” He added, “In terms of innovation, top of mind for us on every deal and for every client is the impact of artificial intelligence.”
